A Dartmoor Showcase

My passion for the outdoors and landscape photography is rooted in Dartmoor. With more than 360 square miles of national park to explore, there is a lifetime worth of adventure and discovery. It might not be the UKs largest national park but with its stunning views, rich history, fascinating geology, and ever-changing weather it has more than enough to continually inspire my photography.

Over the last decade I have captured hundreds of photographs of Dartmoor and produced over forty films of my photography adventures on Dartmoor. It’s a place I am passionate about and to show you how much, I have selected some of my favourite Dartmoor photographs to share with you on this page. I have also selected one of my Dartmoor films so that you can see why I love photographing and exploring Dartmoor so much.

Why I Love Dartmoor - A Film Exploring East Mill Tor

I’ve selected this film to appear on my showcase page as it highlights many of things, I love about photographing and exploring Dartmoor. Arriving before sunrise I wait patiently to capture a dawn photograph of East Mill Tor, one of my favourite viewpoints on Dartmoor. I then make the most of the fantastic conditions and explore the area around East Mill Tor. On the way I discover a boundary stone, a clapper bridge and I explore some of Dartmoor’s military history.

You can read more about this film on my blog here.
