A Passion for Live Music!

Though the landscape is at the heart of my photography, I don’t always limit myself to just photographing the outdoors. One of the wonderful things about photography is that you can combine it with your other interests in life.

One of those interests is going to live music events. You simply can't beat the visceral experience of a good gig and I love using my skills as a photographer to capture those epic moments music that you can only get with a live a show.

Over the years I have captured images of Coldplay, Mumford & Sons, Chvrches, Wet Wet Wet, Fun Lovin' Criminals, Europe and The Boomtown Rats.  I have covered music festivals such as Radio 1 Big Weekend, Beautiful Days and Chagstock.  I also work closely with popular music websites such as musicmuso.com and shoot in venues like Bristol O2 Academy, Plymouth Pavilions, and the Exeter Phoenix.

Below you’ll find a selection of my best live music photographs, and just below that, you’ll find The Unplugged Blog where you’ll find images from all the gigs I’ve photographed.

If you’d like to discuss any aspect of my live music photography, just send me a message using the contact form.
