After days of grey and overcast weather in the Lake District I was over the moon to be able to capture this image from the top of Latrigg Fell during a fleeting break in clouds.
A Sunset to Remember at Brentor Church
A beautiful sunset at Brentor Church on the edge of Dartmoor in Devon.
A Snow Storm over Belstone
Even though it was only going to be a 57% chance of snow on Dartmoor, there was no way I was going to miss the chance to photograph the first snow of the winter. Fortunately I was able to capture this image of Belstone Tor just before a big snow shower forced me to shelter behind a tor.
The Brisons from Porth Nanven
A pastel sunset at Porth Nanven in Cornwall.
I took this image of Haytor from Rippon Tor on Dartmoor one cold morning while out shooting long lens landscape images.

Into The Ocean
Is there such thing as bad weather for photography? Well, sometime you just need to embrace that grey, overcast weather and head out there and find an image. That's just what I did for this photograph of a groyne at Dawlish in Devon.
Stob Dearg on Fire
I never thought I would need a pair of waders to get a shot, but sometimes you have to go that extra mile. Or in this case, an extra few cm's of height in your boots. My feet were freezing cold by the time I got this image but it was worth the numb toes.
This image of Stob Dearg, as the morning light kisses the north west face of this famous Glencoe mountain, is probably my favourite image of my recent visit to Glencoe.
his image was taken at Castlerigg Stone Circle, but as I discovered there is so much more to photograph there.
Stob nan Cabar
This image of Lochan na Fola, Stob nan Cabar and Glen Coe is probably one of favourites. The majestic mountain is almost perfectly reflected in the still lochan.
This is The Cobb at Lyme Regis on a very chilly January morning. This image is also one of my 5 favourite images of 2016.
Lagangarbh Cottage and Lairig Gartain.
After numerous visits I've finally captured Bowerman's Nose on Dartmoor in beautiful conditions. My perseverance has finally paid off!
The Daymark Tower
This image of the Daymark Tower is a result of planning and a little luck. My vision for this image always included the crops blowing in the wind but getting the right sky and nice evening light reflecting off the tower required just a little luck with the weather.
The Lake District in the autumn is a special place to photograph. With amazing colours, dramatic weather and amazing scenery there is little not like about this place.
Down the Glen
he A82 as it snakes down Glencoe and past the Three Sisters.
This is Venford Falls on Dartmoor. Not only is it one of my favourite locations in Devon but this shot of the falls in spring is one of my 5 favourite images of 2016.
St Michael's Mount
It was a risky decision to set the alarm for 3.45am for a 2 hour drive to St Michaels Mount in Cornwall. The weather forecast was 50/50 for favourable conditions but I thought, fortune favours the bold! And fortunate I was. Just as the tide started to recede, revealing a path to the Mount, the sun started to rise and bathed the sky in a lovely morning light.
